SHIRTMAKER TM LEWIN yesterday showed it was shrugging off the slump, reporting record sales as City workers sharpen their suits in a competitive environment. The retailer said sales rose 11 per cent to £38.2m in the 26 weeks to 29 August. Underlying profits in the year to the end of February rose 16 per cent to £12.7m.
