hackett comes to canary wharf

There was a time when Hackett seemed to be chiefly the preserve of rugby types – Johnny Wilkinson was the face of its marketing, after all. Right now, though, it’s a brand with some debonair zip in its step, thanks to the popularity of old-fashioned tailoring and dapper dressing – founder Jeremy Hackett’s 2007 book, Mr Classic, is as useful a guide as any for chaps wanting to look their smartest and sharpest. Good news for Docklands folk, then, that a new Hackett shop has opened on Cabot Square, complete with a suiting room, tailoring services, and plenty of luxury togs and natty accessories.
Promenade Level, Cabot Place, London, E14 4QS. www.hackett.com
