READING ROOM AT W HOTEL
Talk about intellectual stimulation. This month W London – Leicester Square is introducing The (W)riters’ Library (right) an oasis of literary calm for guests with books curated by journalist and playwright Damian Barr. Barr has tapped ten of his favourite authors including Bret Easton Ellis, David Nicholls, Geoff Dyer, Naomi Alderman, Sloane Crosley, Jake Arnott and Craig Taylor, to each choose ten books that reflect their tastes, creating a treasure trove of classic and more unusual reads for guests. Books come complete with hand written introductions by their selector and can be enjoyed over a cocktail in the library’s cerebral setting.
Opens June 14th. www.wlondon.co.uk
