Coffee lovers rejoice. Soon you’ll be able to satisfy that pumpkin spice latte craving without ever having to leave the office.

Starbucks has revealed details of an eagerly awaited new delivery service which it will begin testing before summer.

Seattle, the home of the international coffee chain, and New York City will be the first two locations to experience the delivery service trial, the Seattle Times reports.

The coffee company has already started experimenting with mobile payment which allows customers to order online and then pick up their order in store, avoiding the queues along the way.

Now delivery will take this a step further by bringing the coffee to you.

In Seattle, Starbucks is working with an Uber-like on demand delivery service called Postmates, but in New York it will be their own staff doing the couriering.

Starbucks digital chief Adam Brotman told the Seattle Times that mobile ordering will be launched in the UK and Canada before the end of the year.
