CRICKET: India’s Virender Sehwag is on course to become the first batsman ever to hit three triple centuries in Tests after finishing day two of the third Test with Sri Lanka on an unbeaten 284.

Sehwag hit 40 fours and seven sixes on his way to the fastest ever 250 in Test cricket. Indeed, only Don Bradman has scored more runs in one day, 309.

India ended the day on 443-1 in reply to Sri Lanka’s 393.
