Pro-Heathrow group sends Valentine’s Day message to “commitment-phobe” Prime Minister David Cameron
Pro-Heathrow expansion group Back Heathrow is hoping to find love this Valentine's day from Prime Minister David Cameron, sending him a romantic message urging him to "make a commitment" to Heathrow.
The message is from a "busy west London airport, well-built, popular, looking for a commitment (to a third runway), hoping "David Cameron will make my night by swiping right".

The message includes a dig at Gatwick – or a "lonely Sussex airport, 58, tired of the single (runway) life, Sussex area preferred as it's tricky getting into London or anywhere else in the UK".
“This advert is a bit of fun but it makes a serious point: that when it comes to expanding Heathrow, David Cameron is a commitment-phobe who now needs to make a decision," said Rob Gray, Back Heathrow's campaign director.
The message follows the long-awaited Airports Commission report which last year recommended that Heathrow was the best option for expansion.

However, a final decision by the government has been delayed until the summer of 2016, sparking outrage among business groups, who are urging Cameron to make a decision sooner. In December more than 50 business leaders wrote to Cameron to hit out at the delay.
Such is the discontent with the delay, senior business figures have demanded that the government grants Gatwick the right to build another runway if expansion at Heathrow continues to be thwarted by political and legal obstacles.
