MILAN FASHION WEEK CLASH WITH LONDON
Tensions rise as Milan has announced that its fashion week next September will overlap with London and New York’s. In spite of an agreement made in 2008 that events at New York, London, Milan and Paris should be scheduled sequentially, editors and buyers may be forced to choose one city over another. The question is, which front rows will La Wintour, the grande dame of fashion, choose if the dispute is not resolved?

KATE MOSS LAUNCHES JEWELLERY LINE AT PARIS FASHION WEEK
Kate Moss dazzled the fashion pack with her new jewellery designs for LMVH-owed Fred. She displayed her multitasking abilities in not only launching the jewellery line at the Ritz, but also by making a rare appearance on the catwalk for her friend Marc Jacobs at Louis Vuitton. The 22 styles will be available from Knightsbridge’s Harrods, and prices range from €350 to €35,000.

SHE’S GOT IT: FLORENCE OPENS CHANEL SHOW
Flame-haired Venus, Florence Welch from English band Florence and the Machine, emerged from a shell to perform at the Chanel show on Tuesday. Karl Lagerfeld went on to unveil his ocean-themed collection at the Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2012 show at the Grand Palais. Also in attendance on the front row was a glitzy mix of Uma Thurman, photographer Mario Testino and die-hard Chanel fan Alexa Chung.
