One lucky punter just won half a million pounds on a Trump win

Trump's the winner and Clinton's the loser of the US Presidential election. But, there's another person who's also a big winner of the night.

One incredibly brave punter threw caution to the wind, taking no notice of what the polls said and instead going with some sort of instinct.

The unknown man placed several bets with Spreadex in London over the weeks running up to polling day to the tune of £200,000, putting  it all on a Trump win.

After the shock news that Trump has indeed been voted in as the 45th President of the United States of America, that's now landed him a not too shabby return of £500,000, in addition to his original stake.
