WHEN I was a child in the US, back-to-school fashion (we didn’t have uniforms) was a matter of two new scrunchie hairbands and a new pair of spandex rose-patterned cycle shorts. Oh, and a side pony tail. These days, kids from middle class families are expected to be almost as fashionable as their parents. More so even, if the September launch of a babies and kids version of super-luxury online retailer Net a Porter, means anything. Your kids, from babies to teens, can wear Burberry, Dior, Prada and Armani.

But whether you’re in the market for trendy togs or just plain fun for your kids, there are lots of brilliant ideas out there for jazzing up their autumnwear.?From funky rucksacks, journals and watches for school, to eye-catching clothes for the weekend, there’s something for every budget out there.
