Plateau
Canary Wharfers can go to swanky Plateau, where chef Allan Pickett will be serving up roast grouse, game croute and watercress with endricks gin jus. 16-19 Canada Square. www.plateau-restaurant.co.uk

Brasserie Joel
French chef Joel Antunes is doing roast grouse with pumpkin praline, ravioli and bread sauce. Good for those after something sophisticated yet hearty. Park Plaza Westminster Bridge. www.brasseriejoel.co.uk

Quo Vadis

Green’s St James’s
Green’s will supply grouse from co-owner’s Lord Vestey’s own land. Quail, rabbit, partridge and venison from Allen’s of Mayfair will deck the table of the lavish game feasts held in the private dining room. Duke Street, St James’s. www.greens.org.uk

The Ivy
