Toast the City Awards 2026 finalists announced – vote now!
It’s here: the Toast the City Finalists have been announced, with bars, restaurants, coffee shops, green spaces and more from across the City being celebrated in .
Now is your chance to vote for your favourite city spots – just and cast your vote in less time than it takes to pull a pint of Guinness.
This year we’re celebrating more places than ever, with 12 nominees in each of our 15 categories. The Best Restaurant category will be contested by heavyweight dining options including Cloth, Bouchon Racine, Ibai and Angler; the Best Arts or Culture Experience includes the newly reopened Barts North Wing, Dr Johnson’s House, Shoe Lane Library and the Festival of Words; Best Sandwich could go to Basils, Dauns or Porterford Butchers; and Best Boozer Finalists include Old Doctor Butler’s Head, Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, The Cockpit and Jamaica Wine House. Best Retailer is a brand new category for 2026 and includes Bobby’s Flowers, Classic Football Shirts, Daunt Books and Leonard & Michael Barbers.

This year we have also introduced a new interactive map, which allows you to toggle each category on and off to find the perfect place, whether you’re looking for the best sandwiches beside your office or the perfect park to relax during your lunch break.

Winners are not eligible to win the same category two years in a row but they are invited onto the judging panel for the 2026 awards.
Our amazing panel of judges for 2026 includes tour guide and Tiktok sensation David Harry, the CEO of UK Hospitality Allen Simpson, restaurateurs Martin Williams, Soren Jessen and Karan Gokani, the British Beer and Pub Association’s Emma McClarkin and the famous Galvin brothers Chris and Jeff.
