Flintoff hit ‘all-time low’
Former England captain Andrew Flintoff has revealed the emotional problems he battled after the 2006-7 Ashes whitewash against Australia. “On that trip I was probably at an all-time low personally and professionally,” said Flintoff, who retired in 2010. “Instead of walking out confidently to face Australia in one of the world’s biggest sporting events, I didn’t want to get out of bed, never mind face people.”
