Euro defeats for Premier pair

FOOTBALL: Liverpool and Manchester City must overcome first leg defeats if they are to reach the last eight of the Europa League. Liverpool crashed 1-0 in Braga, while City were beaten 2-0 in Ukraine by Dynamo Kiev for whom Andrey Shevchenko was on target.
