Coyle and Kean face six-pointer
FOOTBALL: Under-fire managers Steve Kean and Owen Coyle insist they are refusing to contemplate the repercussions of defeat ahead of Blackburn and Bolton’s relegation six-pointer at Ewood Park tonight. Kean, whose side are a point and a place ahead of bottom of the table Bolton, maintains the club’s owners still trust him to steer Blackburn to safety. Asked if he had been issued a win-or-bust ultimatum ahead of the game, Kean said: “No, not at all, but I’m not pretending I don’t understand the magnitude of this game.” Speaking of his own future, Coyle added: “It is news to me but it doesn’t faze me.”
