FOREX.COM BRINGS IPHONE APP TO THE UK
Online trading provider GAIN?Capital’s FOREX.com has brought its American iPhone application to the UK, Japan and Russia. The application is built for the v2.0 version of the iPhone and will include all the features of the American mobile platform such as line and candlestick charting facilities, 40 currency pairs, live newsfeed from Dow Jones, an economic calendar and a variety of order types including limit, stop, one-cancels-other (OCO) and trailing stop.

WORLDSPREADS LAUNCHES COMPETITION
WorldSpreads is celebrating its tenth birthday by holding a trading competition with a prize of £10,000 for new and existing customers. To win, traders must complete ten profitable trades in a row, making a five point profit overall. If more than one trader wins, the cash will be split equally. But if nobody wins, the prize will go to the trader with the highest number of consecutive wins. This should not be too difficult considering WorldSpreads research shows three-quarters of its clients close in profit.

IG MARKETS LAUNCHES FURTHER BINARIES
IG Markets has launched another binary contract for difference (CFD) on dollar-Canadian dollar. Binaries allow traders to take a view on whether a specific outcome will occur. For example, will the dollar close above or below Ca$1.0160? David Jones says: “Historically this pair was of little interest to those outside of North America but the struggling US economy – combined with rampant growth in Canada – has made this pair very much one to watch in the global currency landscape.”
