Commuters face severe delays on District Line as rush hour misery strikes

Commuters are facing rush hour misery this morning with severe delays affecting the District Line.

Severe delays have hit trains between Ealing Broadway and Richmond to Earl’s Court after a signal failure at Turnham Green.

Minor delays are running between Earl’s Court and Upminster.

A good service is running on all other lines but this morning’s problems cap a week of rush hour issues for London commuters.

Yesterday Victoria Line trains to Brixton were suspended after engineers were called to fix a signalling failure at the station.

Three other lines suffered severe delays, with Victoria, District and Piccadilly lines all hit by problems.
