GEORGE WILLIAMSON WELBECK GROUP
“Absolutely ridiculous. The whole ethos for the Olympics is a sporting and healthy environment. To restrict all branding of food to McDonald’s is too much. This is our Olympics and we should want to give it a British feel, not one of a world wide franchise.”

NICHOLAS YIALONITES
NEW YORK EXCHANGE
“It’s not good is it? It would look seriously bad on us if all you could see was McDonald’s. It would make the English look like a load of fat slobs. The government should try and involve local businesses and get them out there for the public to see.”

ALAN REDWOOD HSBC
“McDonald’s is not exactly a chain that you associate with athletics is it? If McDonald’s is trying to promote healthier food, to change their image, then I admire their business sense. Personally speaking I think it is totally the wrong brand for the Olympics.”
