Beckham helps Galaxy to title
FOOTBALL: Former England captain David Beckham scored as LA Galaxy wrapped up Major League Soccer’s Western Conference title. Beckham scored the equaliser in a 2-1 home win over FC Dallas that cemented their position at the top and ensures they will play Seattle Sounders in the Western semi-finals. The winners will meet either Dallas or MLS Cup holders Real Salt Lake. Columbus Crew finished top of the Eastern Conference.
