RUGBY UNION: France have recalled centre Mathieu Bastareaud and Benjamin Fall to the side to take on Scotland in their Six Nations opener at Murrayfield on Sunday.

Stade Francais star Bastareaud regains his place despite lying about being assaulted in New Zealand in June.

Full-back Clement Poitrenaud, wing Aurelien Rougerie and flanker Fulgence Ouedraogo also return as coach Marc Lievremont makes nine changes to the side which beat South Africa in November.
