Abellio bus route 484 crashes into front garden of Lewisham home

A bus has driven into the front garden of a home in Lewisham, south east London, this morning. 
 
The incident took place at around 6:30am on Vicars Hill, SE13, a police spokeswoman told City PM The bus was travelling along the 484 route. 
 
No injuries have been reported, although London Ambulance Service is on the scene, along with the Metropolitan Police. 
 
Lewisham Police tweeted about the incident, saying: “It's fair to say 'bus has driven into house' is not an everyday call, even for Lewisham”.

There are currently no road closures as a result of the crash, which involved an Abellio bus. 
 
Mike Weston, TfL’s director of buses, said: “At around 6:30 this morning a route 484 single deck bus, operated by Abellio, collided with a wall on Vicars Hill near to the junction with Cliffview Road, SE4.  
 
"Emergency services attended the scene. There will be a full investigation into the incident.”
