What do David Cameron, Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and Lindsay Lohan have in common? They're all obsessing over the EU referendum at the moment.

While it's obvious why the three above-mentioned politicians are talking/eating/sleeping EU referendum poll results at the moment, "why is the Mean Girls star tweeting about Britain's historic vote?" you may ask.

Has she been hacked? Is she into British politics? We don't know is the answer.

Sample some of her tweets about the referendum here:

While some Twitter users called her the "Queen of British politics" others questioned whether she knows where Sunderland is.

If anything good comes of tonight, it's @lindsaylohan referendum coverage

In an entirely unexpected turn of events, @lindsaylohan is live tweeting the #EURef. And she is very much #remain.
