GOLF: World No1 Tiger Woods last night confirmed his divorce from former wife Elin Nordgren.
“We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future,” said the American in a statement.

Woods apologised publicly for infidelity earlier this year and his results have suffered badly while he battled to save his marriage.
