Why wing wonder Bale will have Milan terrified
IF Gareth Bale does return to the Tottenham side tonight, as expected, it will cause great concern in the AC Milan camp.
Bale is such a threat wide on the left with his ability to run with the ball at defences, and if he can get in one-on-one situations with Milan’s right-back then the visitors will be in trouble.
Whenever Spurs win possession back in the middle of their own half they will look to release Bale – because they know the fleet-footed winger will be upfield with the ball at his feet within a couple of seconds.
Elsewhere I think Redknapp will stick with the Peter Crouch-Rafael van der Vaart pairing in attack that has worked so well this season, with Wilson Palacios complementing Luka Modric in midfield.
