Why we are about more than just financial news

RIGHT from the start, City PM has been about much more than just business and financial news and comment. Our daily sports section has always been an essential part of our offering and our writers and columnists now enjoy a growing and devoted following. We have all the biggest sports stories that matter – every day. In addition to straight sports news and comment, we also publish unique  and tip-filled gaming pages every Friday in our Punter section.

Our Lifestyle pages also continue to make waves: our restaurant and food reviews, motoring and Friday arts, entertainment reviews and property pages are more influential than ever. We are continuing to build our travel, books and fashion content, all written by our features team.

But we are also moving into exciting new areas: we are now the only newspaper to produce a daily investment section tailored to the needs of our unique audience. We started off by writing about trading products such as spread betting; we are now gradually branching out into more mainstream wealth-management.

Last but not least, our City focus pages now report weekly on the law industry, recruitment and education. But one thing is clear:CityA.M. is as much about playing hard as it is about hard work.
