Watch this brilliant rap against the blight of buzzwords and business jargon

Everyone hates business buzzwords. You know the ones – ideation, game-changer, blue-sky thinking, we could go on.

We've already had a tool to banish them from our pitches, and warnings that they could be killing our career prospects, but now there's a creative plea to banish the buzzwords in the form of a brilliant rap.

Created by design agency Pentagram, in their own words, as an "entreaty to all agencies and execs who habitually assault the English language with their business buzzwords"

“We originally published Gamechanger as an epic poem, a kind of anti-jargon Odyssey or Aeneid, a seven-verse entreaty to all agencies and execs who habitually assault the English language with their business buzzwords," explains co-creator Naresh Ramchandani.

"But when it came to making a video, we realised that epic poems are so two millennia ago and that maybe a bit of H.O.V.A would work better than a bit of Homer. And so our rap video was born."

With some pretty high profile collaborators – Steven Qua who created Channel 4's latest on-screen identity, and a backing track from Jesse Hackett who tours with Gorillaz – if anything can halt the buzzword blight, it must be this.

"So here it is, Pentagram’s first rap video. Will people like it? No idea. Does an overjargonized world need it? Hell yes," said Ramchandani.
