We've had the festive offerings from Marks & Spencer, John Lewis and Aldi – and now the Sainsbury's Christmas ad has arrived.

The supermarket has brought America's favourite Briton, James Corden, on board to take part in its musical extravaganza which "tells the story of Dave, a hard-working and devoted Dad, who realises that the greatest gift he can give people this Christmas is his time".

The stop frame animation sees Dave caught up in the madness of Christmas, trying to get his shopping out of the way and deal with transport delays in a battle to get home and see his family. The ad has been made in partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The John Lewis ad, featuring Buster the boxer, can be watched here, and Marks & Spencer's ad, which focuses on Mrs Claus, can be watched here.
