Watch: Exclusive look inside the Walkie Talkie’s Sky Garden

After many moons of waiting, the Walkie Talkie's Sky Garden was launched to the public yesterday.

At 38 storeys high, the garden was one of the conditions of the Walkie Talkie's (or 20 Fenchurch Street, to give it its correct name) planning permission, but it's received heavy criticism after it emerged visitors will need a ticket to get up there.

Those behind the building, designed by architect Rafael Viñoly, say the tickets are necessary to keep the building safe. Ticket holders are allocated a 90-minute slot to enjoy the "park in the sky" – but have to bring photo ID.

Still, it's not often one of City PM's neighbours opens to the public for the first time, so, on a decidedly overcast day, we went to have an exclusive nose around.

Get those tickets while they're still hot – there's advice on getting hold of one here.
