Digital marketing firm Unlimited Group today unveiled a new strategic alliance with international agencies in a bid to provide a global offering for its clients.

UK-based Unlimited has signed an alliance with German ad giant Serviceplan and Japanese firm Hakuhodo to build joint teams offering a presence in all major markets.

The alliance will allow the three companies to pitch for business as a single unit while continuing to serve existing local clients, Unlimited said.

Unlimited operates seven agencies, including digital ad company TMW Unlimited and PR firm Nelson Bostock.

Serviceplan is Europe’s largest independent network, with over 4,000 employees worldwide, while Hakuhodo employs 10,000 people in 20 countries and regions across Asia.

Unlimited Group president Tim Bonnet said: “We have had a relationship with Hakuhodo and partnership agreement with Serviceplan for a number of years and as this grew in success, we are delighted to formalise this into a global alliance.

“We are really excited about the expanded offering and capabilities this will bring to our existing clients as well as the agile, innovative and data lead offering we can offer new clients on a global scale.”

Unlimited said the three firms have already begun work on a pan-European pitch due to take place in the first quarter 2019.

The alliance will be led by executives from each of the three firms. No equity or cash was exchanged as part of the deal.
