Tottenham Hotspur’s £15.5m offer for Bologna defender Takehiro Tomiyasu has been rejected. The Italian club had valued the player at £17.2m.

Apart from Bologna, Tomiyasu is a key player in the Japanese squad with 23 caps and a goal for his country.

Tottenham is looking for fresh players as current right back Serge Aurier has confirmed he will be leaving Spurs for his original club PSG in the summer. The Ivory Coast international made 110 appearances for Tottenham since joining the club in 2017.

Harry Kane

Striker Harry Kane has also requested to leave. The Golden Boot winner – with 23 goals to his name – has been valued at £100m in the latest bid by Premier league champions Manchester City.

Kane has made headlines because of his contributions to England’s results in the European championships. He has scored three goals in the competition, two of which assisted England into the Semi Finals of Euro 2020.
