Blazers are your friend. “The blazer is still hot this season – choose one in a dark colour to add the finishing touch to interview attire,” says Slader. “Shoulder pads are also a key look, and give the look of empowerment and confidence.”
Don’t overdo your look with bold accessories – it is important not to draw attention away from what you’re saying. “You can still be on-trend, but ensure your accessories complement the outfit, rather than dominate it,” says Slader. Purples, royal blue and berry colours are really popular this season – choose accessories in colours that suit your skin tone to highlight your attributes.
