There’s nothing that says well done me quite like a bodacious one-man palace

YOU’VE given your life to work – and you’ve made a mint in return. It’s high time you rewarded yourself with a show-stopper of a home.?Don’t beat around the property bush – buy yourself a bachelor pad with all the bells and whistles, a home you love so much you’d be happy to live in it alone forever more, hosting mates occasionally within its bodacious confines.

The meaning of “bodacious” has changed slightly since the super-flashy old days. Roarie Scarisbrick, of buying agent Property Vision, says: “Bachelors are being a little more discerning with their property investments this time round. Rather than the hyper-indulgent one-bedroom apartment they are opting for a more practical two-bedroom place which has greater resale potential.”

Scarisbrick adds: “The jet-setting bachelor wants convenience above all else, and has all heating, security and audio visual equipment linked up to his iPhone. High-service, hotel-style apartment buildings really appeal to the modern bachelor, too, with parking and 24-hour porterage.”
