For the daddy who has (nearly) everything

CHANCES are, your father doesn’t make a song and dance about the items on his wish-list. Desperate for new cufflinks, more single malt or a nice new pen? He might be, but you’ll be hard pressed to know it.

This is a chance to surprise him with his unspoken wish. First, there are items that are sure to delight him, such as a wonderfully light titanium Alessi watch or – for the achingly hip dad – a Prada perfume. Novelty items that embody British craftsmanship are also a good idea, such as William & Son’s Backgammon set or a Trumpers shoe-shine kit.

Second up are spas – and no, they’re not just for girls. What better way to spend quality time with your pa than while on your bellies being massaged? Exactly. A treat all round.
