● IG Index is now offering clients the ability to deal directly on the monthly US non-farm payroll figure. These figures already trigger one of IG’s busiest dealing periods, with an average of 5,000 trades within a minute of their announcement. The next figures are due out on Friday. Last month they rose by 36,000, far less than the 150,000 expected.

The new feature, giving direct exposure to the market’s reaction to these figures, will be quoted as a series of binary bets, allowing the client to accurately know both their liability and potential return. In addition to the monthly non-farm payroll reading, bets will also be available in the same format covering the US initial weekly jobless claims number.
