Spotify down: Now the music streaming service is having technical issues across Europe with track skipping

Spotify is down for some users across Europe.

Users of the music streaming service have reported that it is down completely, while others said there were issues with tracks skipping.

According to downdetector.com, which monitors problems with major sites and services, the issue began just before 12pm. More than 1,000 reports were made about problems with Spotify, compared to usual single digit report numbers over the last 24 hours.

Spotify tweeted that it is investigating some issues.

BT yesterday experienced a major outage across its broadband and phone network across the UK for more than two hours, for which it later apologised.
