Signal failures at Barbican and Tufnell Park causing delays on Northern, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan Lines

Commuters across London are facing travel woes already this morning, with a signal failure at Barbican causing delays on the Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City Line.

Severe delays have been reported on all three lines between Baker Street and Aldgate as Transport for London deals with the issue.

There are minor delays throughout the Circle Line clockwise, while on the Hammersmith & City Line trains are being affected between Barking and Hammersmith eastbound, TfL said.

And commuters complained that trains were being terminated coming into central London at western stations including Wembley and Harrow.

Meanwhile a second signal failure, this time at Tufnell Park, is playing havoc with the Northern Line.

There is currently no service between Camden Town and High Barnet/Mill Hill East.
