The London Overground is running with severe delays this morning between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction because of a faulty track.

Earlier during rush hour there was no service between Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction – one of London's busiest stations – because of a faulty train track at Wandsworth Road.

Transport for London (TfL) said tickets would be accepted on buses.

National Rail tweeted that the disruption would last until just after 10am:

#WandsworthRoad – A broken rail between Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction is causing disruption to trains between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction. Trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until approximately 10:15. https://t.co/KfJBwPTnUO
