If you are planning to trade tomorrow’s game in-running on Betdaq, it may interest you to know that in the last 20 years, the side scoring first has gone on to win 14 of those 20 games within 90 minutes. In that period, only twice has the side falling behind first gone on to lift the cup within 90 minutes.

If you are looking to trade the under 2.5 goals market, it’s worth noting that in only five of the last 22 FA Cup finals (including replays) has there been a goal in the first 20 minutes, including two in the last 15 finals. The game’s first goal has come between the 30th and 45th minutes in half of the last 14 finals.

Looking at action after the break and in only eight of the last 22 FA Cup finals (including replays) has the half-time result matched that after 90 minutes.

Interestingly, the team who has scored the first goal of the second half has gone onto win the final in nine of the 10 finals which have seen goals after the interval. However, there has only been a second half goal in two of the last six second halves. In the last 20 years the result after 60 minutes has been the full time result 15 times in 22 matches, including in all of the last six finals.

Since the abolishment of final replays, their have been 23 English cup finals of which eight have gone to extra time, with half being decided at the end of the extra 30 minutes. Including replay years, there have been 11 periods of extra time in 27 matches since 1983-84, seven were concluded during this period with four going to penalties or a replay.
