Red Bull expect Webber to see out contract
RED BULL chiefs expect Mark Webber to see out his contract despite fresh tension with team-mate Sebastian Vettel.
Australian Webber raced to victory at the British Grand Prix on Sunday and then immediately hit out at his team’s perceived favouritism towards Vettel. The friction has cast doubt on the future of Webber, who is contracted to Red Bull until the end of next season.
But team principal Christian Horner said: “We’ve provided him with a car that has enabled him to run at the front, win grands prix and challenge for the world championship. I doubt very much he is going to walk away from that.”
