Price of Bitcoin and Ethereum holds the line amid wider market instability

Crypto AM Daily - a roundup of today's market news

The Bitcoin price continues to move horizontally, hovering around $19,000 and showing a slight bump of 1.5% growth in the last week.

Trade of the largest cryptocurrency by market cap has eased off somewhat following a busy week on the exchanges. Ethereum is stable at $1,291 this morning, showing a slight drop in price of 0.36% in the last seven days. Uniswap continues to post strong trading numbers, up 14.52% on the week and trading at $6.45.

Traditional equity markets are down today, as volatility continues to plague the global economy. Reports in the media are that Credit Suisse – the global banking giant – is the latest to fall prey as it allegedly faces liquidity issues.

Last week’s market turmoil in the UK led to record numbers of trading volumes between the British pound and Bitcoin. Will we see a similar trend in future as traditional markets continue to steer through some rough waters?

What they said yesterday

The crypto mullet thesis…

1/3 What many bears out there are currently missing:

The crypto mullet thesis (fintech/big tech in the front, crypto in the back) is accelerating in spite of the downturn.

Crypto is (finally!) fading into the background.

Cardano in action…

This tweet really strikes at the core of why Cardano is so powerful. It's not TPS with EUTXO, it's transactions per transaction. Our model is the most scalable, safe, and parallel computing friendly in the industry and is only getting faster https://t.co/3qKoY52eVr
