President rapped over Semenya
ATHLETICS: South Africa’s Olympic governing body has apologised to world champion Caster Semenya and suspended its president, Leonard Chuene, over the on-going gender row.
Chuene admitted he lied about whether Semenya had been gender tested before the championships in Berlin. He and several other board members have now been suspended pending a disciplinary investigation.
