Budget 2015: Renton Osborne goes Toryspotting

“We choose families. We choose aspiration,” said Osborne.
This election is all about competence versus chaos as far as the Tories are concerned, and yesterday’s Budget was as much an election rally as it was an economic statement.
The unsubtle implication was that voters must not risk this stability and growth by voting Labour in May.
Osborne mostly kept his promise to have “no giveaways, [and] no gimmicks”.
However, he could not resist helping out a few mates in trouble in key marginal seats, such as making cash available for the RAF Museum in Hendon, where the Tory MP Matthew Offord has a majority of just 106.
