Phelps beaten in final

SWIMMING: Olympic champion Michael Phelps was beaten by his fellow American Ryan Lochte in the final of the men’s 200m freestyle at the world championships in Shanghai. Lochte clocked one minute, 44.44 seconds for gold, with Phelps taking silver in 1:44.79.
