  • Reach: Print revenue falls at Mirror and Express publisher

    The Daily Mirror and Daily Express publisher has said it is confident it can deliver on full year forecasts, despite falling print revenue. In a trading update for its third quarter, Reach said group revenue fell 2.5 per cent year on year, and was down 4.3 per cent overall in the nine months to September. [...]

    Reach posted a drop in print revenue, with circulation in the third quarter down 1.9 per cent and advertising down 9.1 per cent year on year.
  • Reach: Profit picks up at Mirror publisher despite falling revenue

    The Euros and "effective" action on costs helped Reach successfully to shore up its bottom line despite continued dents to revenue due to falling circulations and changes to Meta's algorithm.

    The National Union of Journalists (NUJ) has said "all options are open", including strikes, after Reach brutally slashed 450 jobs last week.
