KURSK RETURNS TO THE YOUNG VIC
Having had a triumphant run at the Young Vic in 2009, the award-nominated show about fateful events onboard Russia’s doomed submarine, the Kursk, is making a welcome return to the theatre. Byron Lavery’s show is a nail-biting immersion in a submariner’s world – a promenade show, the audience is plunged into an environment of camaraderie, control and command. 26 Mar –7 Apr, Young Vic, 66 The Cut, Waterloo, SE1 8LZ. ALICE IN THE WONDER ROOM
As Alice in Wonderland drives all before it at the box office, Selfridges has a shopping exhibition fit for a Queen of Hearts. Disney fashion, Johnny Depp’s Mad Hatter attire and Alice-inspired perfume and jewellery are all to be had in the pop up shop in the department store’s Wonder Room. WARHOL COMES TO ST JAMES’S
Warhol’s portraits of Ingrid Bergman, Mao Zedong and the Queen Elizabeth II are among the pop artist’s works on display at Olyvia Fine Art in St James, along with the his silent, black and white film recordings of visitors to his Factory studio. 17 Mar – 9 May.
