BIG CURRY LUNCH: TODAY
Mix with members of the Royal Household, City leaders, football icons and politicians while raising money for soldiers, ex-soldiers and their families in times of need, at the Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch. THE WAGES OF THIN AT THE OLD RED LION
Alfred Rimbaud Thin goes to relieve himself in a public convenience only to find himself a suspect in a murder enquiry. Over the course of a brutal interrogation, two bizarre policemen viciously accuse Thin of perversion, incest, and earning a wage that just doesn’t add up. Written in 1969, this play was Trevor Griffiths’ extraordinary debut about the fragility of personal privacy. This is is a superb chance to see it.
