DALI COMES TO THE CITY
Dali lovers rejoice: London is to be graced with an outdoor installation of Dali’s Alice in Wonderland monument, previously unseen in the UK. Nearly five metres high, the bronze piece was conceived in 1977 and has travelled the world since 2010. Its appearance coincides with an indoor exhibition in Norman Foster-designed Moor House, right here in the City. 1 April – 30 June. www.moor-house.com. Moor House, 120 London Wall, EC2.

COOL CRAFT WORKSHOPS
Feeling arty? Join the craft movement by attending some creative workshops at Make-Do, a pop-up “craft hideaway” off Regent Street. Here you can get back to basics with finger and thumb action – knit, stitch, ink, fold and glue. Workshops include beginners’ knitting, screen printing, hand embroidery and crochet. Workshops are from 4-30 April and last three and a half hours. To find out more, go to www.makedo.uk.com

RATTIGAN SEASON AT BFI
BFI Southbank is celebrating the centennial year of the birth of wartime dramatist Terence Rattigan. Famous for his plays, he also had a prodigous screenwriting career. Throughout April, audiences will have a chance see everything from Brighton Rock to The Browning Version. From the 1940s until his death in 1977, Rattigan was one of the most successful screenwriters in the world, writing more than 20 films. bfi.org.uk
