New homes on sale this weekend, including the former BBC Television Centre in White City

Television Centre, White City
From £700,000

The former home of the BBC forms the centrepiece of the regeneration of White City, which will see 5,000 new homes built in total. The first batch of homes will go on sale from 23 April at 11am in the Television Centre Pavilion. The first phase will consist of 432 one to three bedroom apartments due to be completed in 2018. Two show apartments and offices are now available to view taking their cue from the iconic ‘50s architecture. The complex will also incorporate an outpost of Soho House with a rooftop swimming pool.

Wardian London, Canary Wharf

Homes went on sale on 21 April in the West Tower of Wardian London. The name comes from Wardian Cases, used during the height of the British Empire to transport botanical plants. Developer EcoWorld Ballymore is offering a landscaped public plaza that will hold 1,000 species of plants and flowers. Spread across two towers, 624 one and two bedroom apartments will be built in total overlooking the South Dock, set to be complete in 2019.

Colindale Gardens, Colindale

This £1bn regeneration project by Redrow London in north west London is now on sale. In total, 2,900 new homes are being built on a 47-acre site that used to house disused 1960s towers blocks and the Peel Centre, a former training college for police officers. Apart from homes and green spaces, there will also be a new 600-intake primary school and it’s 30 minutes from central London on the Northern Line. First completions are expected in late 2017.

Clissold Quarter, Stoke Newington

Higgins Homes is putting 158 new apartments, duplexes and penthouses on the market on 23 April in North East London, overlooking Clissold Park and Manor House. Three buildings, ranging from five to 12 storeys high, will house one to three bedroom properties on the former King’s Crescent Estate. The developer has struck a deal with Hackney Council whereby private sale apartments fund a number of social rented and shared ownership homes.

Fulham Riverside, Fulham

Barratt London is putting a collection of riverside homes on sale this weekend, sitting in between Putney and Chelsea on the north bank of the Thames. The latest phase of the 8.25 acre site, River Walk, continues the Thames walking path including a fitness suite and a proposed waterfront cafe. One and two bedroom homes are on sale, but there will be 467 one to six bedroom apartments, penthouses and townhouses in total.
