New homes on sale in London this weekend: from Maple & Co’s old furniture factory to apartments near the Hurlingham Club

The Maple Building, Kentish Town

The old Maple & Co furniture factory in Kentish Town has been transformed into 57 one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses. The six storey building, which dates back to the 19th century, has been restored by The Linton Group and retains its red brick facade alongside contemporary interiors by Gemma Gordon-Duff. It’s also a 10 minute walk from Kentish Town tube station.

Bolingbroke Park, Cockfosters

The latest collection of apartments at L&Q’s Bolingbroke Park development go on sale tomorrow in Enfield. The new homes, called Bournegate Court, are one and two bedroom flats set a 10 minute walk from Cockfosters station on the Piccadilly Line, with a half hour journey into central London, and they’re close to the 413-acre Trent Park. Aimed at first-time buyers and downsizers, they’re set to be finished by July.

Bakery Place, Battersea

An old Victoran bakery in a cobbled mews to the back of Battersea Library has been turned into 12 ready-to-move-into properties. Seven of them are one to two bedroom apartments, four are two bedroom mews houses and there’s a three bedroom penthouse with private roof terrace and parking space. Developer West Eleven has kept many 19th century industrial features throughout the property, such as glazed brickwork, wrought iron columns and timber beams.

Vicarage Gate, Kensington

Eight apartments were finished and put on the market adjacent to Kensington Palace Gardens – dubbed “Billionaire’s Row” and the most expensive street in Britain – on Wednesday. Six homes remain on sale out of four apartments, two duplexes and two studios, ranging from one to three bedrooms. They used to be two period townhouses, but were converted and refurbished by developer Northacre.

Hurlingham Walk, Fulham

Only three homes are remaining at Hurlingham Walk as the new show apartment is unveiled to the public tomorrow on Carnwarth Road. Once completed, there will be 68 one and two bedroom apartments in total developed by St James, part of the Berkeley Homes group, sitting on the edge of Hurlingham Park in Fulham and a few minutes walk from the Hurlingham Club and Putney Bridge station.
