New homes on sale in London this weekend: from garden squares in Bayswater to mews houses around a 200-year old oak tree

Triple One Collection, Elephant & Castle

An exhibition was held at The Shard today to launch the latest set of homes at the heart of Elephant & Castle’s regeneration area in Zone One. Set in a 41-storey tower at Two Fifty One Southwark Bridge Road, The Triple One Collection comprises 42 one to three bedroom apartments between floors 31 and 36. Within those lies The Select Ten, more luxurious two bedroom apartments, with upgraded furnishings, winter gardens and the best views. Oakmayne Properties and Lone Star are the developers behind the new homes, which sit in just under an acre of land next door to a new eight storey office building.

55 Victoria Street, Victoria

Only 16 residences are left at this development in Victoria Street inspired by New York-style loft apartments. In total, Alchemi Group built 57 one to three bedroom flats with 2.9m ceiling heights and views over Westminster. A communal gym and rooftop garden are thrown in, but buyers of homes in The Platinum Collection will be able to luxuriate in 3,100sqft of space with their own private balcony or terrace. Underground parking is also available, but the developer is also throwing in a 10-year Zipcar Club membership.

Jigsaw, West Ealing

A pair of three bedroom penthouses have gone on sale this week near West Ealing’s new Crossrail station, which is set to open in 2019. Developers Fabrica and Rydon hope the jewels in the crown at their Jigsaw development has great investment potential, offering approximately 1,100sqft of space spread over two floors. Architectural firm Conran and Partners has been involved in the design of the scheme, an 11-year project which will bring new parks, pedestrianised walkways and a new primary school to the area. The penthouses are set to be completed in the summer of 2017.

22 Kensington Gardens Square, Bayswater

A former Grade II Listed hotel has been transformed into luxury apartments on the corner of a popular garden square in Bayswater. Originally built as a private residence in 1858, boutique developer Fruition Properties has restored the building to its former usage and bought the two adjoining buildings as well. Now there are six apartments for sale; two lateral two bedroom apartments and four two to three bedroom duplexes. The scheme takes over all four floors of the building, plus the basement level, and the two lower level duplexes come with private terraces.

Cambium, Southfields

Eleven modern mews houses have gone on sale at Cambium, a new development by sustainable developer Lend Lease in leafy Southfields. Each of the homes has three bedrooms, a rear and rooftop garden and private off-street parking. With over 1,500sqft of living space spread over four floors, buyers will also be offered a free consultation and interiors package with Danish design firm BoConcept worth £40,000. The Zone Three development will have 55 townhouses and 55 apartments when it’s finished, all centred around an oak tree thought to have been planted 200 years ago by legendary landscape architect Capability Brown.
