Dylon Works, Sydenham

From £227,997 with Help to Buy London, from £389,995 for private sale apartments

Over 200 homes will go on sale tomorrow, with the option to take out a 40 per cent equity loan via the government’s Help to Buy London scheme. Primed for first time buyers, 221 out of 223 one to three bedroom apartments will go on the market, with a one bedroom show apartment for prospective buyers. Developer Crest Nicholson has built the homes across two buildings next to Lower Sydenham station, on the boundary of Bromley and Lewisham, with rail links into London Bridge in 16 minutes.

Dickens Yard, Ealing

From £870,000

Fancy living on the edge of a new town square in West London? Developer St George, a subsidary of Berekely Group, is releasing 29 two and three bedroom apartments for sale tomorrow in Ealing, where estate agent JLL predicts house prices will increase by 50 per cent over the next five years. This is to do with the fact the Elizabeth Line – as Crossrail has been renamed – is opening nearby in 2019 and this new batch of flats, Elizabeth Apartments, are named in its honour. There’s also a duplex penthouse for sale.

St George’s Gate, Tooting

Two and four bedroom townhouses on tree-lined avenues in an up-and-coming part of south London are on sale in Tooting. The development by Bellway Homes is a ten minute walk from Tooting Bec underground station on the Northen Line, with links to Waterloo, Charing Cross, Bank and Old Street. All of the new houses are set to have private gardens and off-street parking. They’re also close to local amenities such as the parkland of Tooting Common and Tooting Bec Lido, the UK’s largest outdoor swimming pool.

A collection of new apartments from the developer behind the regeneration of Covent Garden Market went on sale last weekend. The surrounding landscaping has also been designed by Andy Sturgeon, a Chelsea Flower Show gold medalist described as the ‘David Beckham of gardening.’

2 Kew Bridge Road, Kew

From £445,000

Only ten homes remain at a new scheme at Kew in south west London, overlooking the River Thames. The development of 35 one to three bedroom apartments are situated in the old Star and Garter Hotel, which is notable for hosting King George III when he opened the second Kew Bridge. Developed by Albany Homes, the flats sit in the Strand-on-the-Green Conservation Area with rail links to Waterloo. A show apartment is open and a private rental scheme next door, Albany Court, will launch in February.
